Overview
When you set out to choose your next mountain trip, or the trekking you’ve always dreamed of, you want to make sure you’ll get a perfect experience, so you look for the best services, the best guides and the company or travel agency that can give you the right options.
ChileMontaña Cia de Guias is a mountain guide company, which means that each one of the staff members is a mountain guide with years of climbing experience in different terrains and situations. They’ve always aimed for the best, which is how they learned how important logistic preparation and optional plans are.
Trusting your guide is an important aspect in mountaineering: ChileMontaña Cia de Guias expeditions are carefully planned and then personally guided by one of their staff.
ChileMontaña Cia de Guias is experienced in a wide range of expeditions: from a one-person trip to groups of over 45 people, from one-day trips to over 50-day long trips, from top of the art 4WD vehicles to mules, from hydroplanes to rafts, from climbing to MTB, from horseback riding to hiking, to skiing, to paragliding, from sea level to the 8850m-high top of the Everest, from deserts and snow into the deepest forests.
And everyone at ChileMontaña is committed to offering you the most custom-made trip you wish so as to suit your needs as well as your liking.
ChileMontaña’s Philosophy Basically, they like what they do. Nature is not only ChileMontaña’s work place, but a setting they enjoy, and as they live close to it, they are aware of its greatness as well as the fragility of most of today’s natural surroundings. So ChileMontaña tries to communicate their feelings and knowledge, not with words but by acting upon them: showing and sharing, looking, exploring and discovering the different tracks and where they might lead.
Mission Statement As a client-oriented mountain guide company in South America, ChileMontaña works to be the most efficient and the best service available.
ChileMontaña also values having the highest technical level available nowadays by maintaining a continuous training program for every guide and staff member working with them.
The Experience ChileMontaña wants you to enjoy a unique experience on each and every one of their trips. Their aim is to meet the goals they’ve set and to take a step further, as a way of giving you a personal experience that will remain with you forever.
Travel Ethics In every place ChileMontaña visit, they are guests: they don’t belong there, even if they have been there many times or if they really know the locals. Therefore, ChileMontaña behaves according to an open curious attitude, so as to learn from and enjoy every place, but always being respectful of every aspect of the area, of the moment, of local culture, and of the wildlife.
Part of this attitude is displaying an active attitude towards environmental preservation, by following and adopting the “Leave No Trace” ideas and tips, as well as the sustainable and responsible travel ethics.
Safety ChileMontaña wants you back from your trip happy and in perfect condition, so they follow strict guidelines to avoid troubles and/or minimize risks. Each situation requires analysis, evaluation and different solutions - there is no automatic or easy answer so ChileMontaña trains hard to be ready for the unexpected or for when fast answers are needed.
And if any problem arises, ChileMontaña has the tools, the training, and the plans to provide you with solid, fast, and useful solutions.
Excellence ChileMontaña always seeks excellence in every thing they do. This requires an ongoing process of learning from failures or mistakes, questioning decisions and valuing success. ChileMontaña is committed to giving you the best experience possible, in which every moment and relationship counts. They constantly adopt new technology, and evolve along with the times and techniques, as they adapt to new circumstances.
